1En Besaleël en Oholiab en elke man wat wys van hart is, in wie die HERE wysheid en verstand gegee het om te weet hoe om al die werk van die diens van die heiligdom te doen, moet werk volgens alles wat die HERE beveel het.וְעָשָׂה֩ בְצַלְאֵ֨ל וְאָהֳלִיאָ֜ב וְכֹ֣ל׀ אִ֣ישׁ חֲכַם־לֵ֗ב אֲשֶׁר֩ נָתַ֨ן יְהוָ֜ה חָכְמָ֤ה וּתְבוּנָה֙ בָּהֵ֔מָּה לָדַ֣עַת לַעֲשֹׂ֔ת אֶֽת־כָּל־מְלֶ֖אכֶת עֲבֹדַ֣ת הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ לְכֹ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּ֖ה יְהוָֽה׃“So Bezalel, Oholiab, and every skilled person are to carry out everything commanded by the LORD, who has given them skill and ability to know how to perform all the work of constructing the sanctuary.” 2Moses het Besalel en Oholiab geroep, en elke man met 'n wyse hart in wie se hart die HERE wysheid gegee het, elkeen wie se hart hom aangespoor het om nader te kom tot die werk om dit te doen.

וַיְצַ֣ו מֹשֶׁ֗ה וַיַּעֲבִ֨ירוּ ק֥וֹל בַּֽמַּחֲנֶה֮ לֵאמֹר֒ אִ֣ישׁ וְאִשָּׁ֗ה אַל־יַעֲשׂוּ־ע֛וֹד מְלָאכָ֖ה לִתְרוּמַ֣ת הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ וַיִּכָּלֵ֥א הָעָ֖ם מֵהָבִֽיא׃After Moses had given an order, they sent a proclamation throughout the camp: “No man or woman should make anything else as an offering for the sanctuary.” So the people were restrained from bringing more, 7En die materiaal was vir hulle genoeg om al die werk te doen, en daar was oor.

8Elkeen wat wys van hart was onder die werkers van die werk, het die tabernakel gemaak: tien tentdoeke van getwynde fyn linne en blou en purper en skarlaken; met gerubs, werk van 'n ontwerper, het hy dit gemaak.וַיַּעֲשׂ֨וּ כָל־חֲכַם־לֵ֜ב בְּעֹשֵׂ֧י הַמְּלָאכָ֛ה אֶת־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן עֶ֣שֶׂר יְרִיעֹ֑ת שֵׁ֣שׁ מָשְׁזָ֗ר וּתְכֵ֤לֶת וְאַרְגָּמָן֙ וְתוֹלַ֣עַת שָׁנִ֔י כְּרֻבִ֛ים מַעֲשֵׂ֥ה חֹשֵׁ֖ב עָשָׂ֥ה אֹתָֽם׃All the skilled craftsmen among the workmen made the ten curtains for the tabernacle. They were made of finely spun linen, as well as blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, with cherubim skillfully worked into them. 9Die lengte van die een tentdoek was 28 el en die breedte van die een tentdoek vier el; al die tentdoeke het een maat gehad.

14En hy het tentdoeke van bokhaar gemaak vir ’n tent oor die tabernakel; hy het hulle gemaak, elf tentdoeke.

וַיַּ֨עַשׂ֙ יְרִיעֹ֣ת עִזִּ֔ים לְאֹ֖הֶל עַל־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֑ן עַשְׁתֵּֽי־עֶשְׂרֵ֥ה יְרִיעֹ֖ת עָשָׂ֥ה אֹתָֽם׃He then made curtains of goat hair for the tent over the tabernacle—eleven curtains in all. 15Die lengte van die een tentdoek was 30 el en vier el die breedte van die een tentdoek; die elf tentdoeke het een maat gehad.

וַיַּ֤עַשׂ מִכְסֶה֙ לָאֹ֔הֶל עֹרֹ֥ת אֵלִ֖ים מְאָדָּמִ֑ים וּמִכְסֵ֛ה עֹרֹ֥ת תְּחָשִׁ֖ים מִלְמָֽעְלָה׃ סAdditionally, he made for the tent a covering of ram skins dyed red, and over that a covering of fine leather.

20En hy het die planke vir die tabernakel gemaak van akasiahout, regop staande.וַיַּ֥עַשׂ אֶת־הַקְּרָשִׁ֖ים לַמִּשְׁכָּ֑ן עֲצֵ֥י שִׁטִּ֖ים עֹמְדִֽים׃Next, he constructed upright frames of acacia wood for the tabernacle. 21Tien el was die lengte van die plank, en ’n el en ’n halwe el die breedte van die een plank.

שְׁתֵּ֣י יָדֹ֗ת לַקֶּ֨רֶשׁ֙ הָֽאֶחָ֔ד מְשֻׁלָּבֹ֔ת אַחַ֖ת אֶל־אֶחָ֑ת כֵּ֣ן עָשָׂ֔ה לְכֹ֖ל קַרְשֵׁ֥י הַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃Two tenons were connected to each other for each frame.
