1En die HERE het met Moses gepraat en gesê:וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃Then the LORD said to Moses, 2“Praat met die Israeliete, dat hulle vir My ’n bydrae neem; van elkeen wie se hart hom gewillig maak, moet julle My bydrae neem.דַּבֵּר֙ אֶל־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְיִקְחוּ־לִ֖י תְּרוּמָ֑ה מֵאֵ֤ת כָּל־אִישׁ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יִדְּבֶ֣נּוּ לִבּ֔וֹ תִּקְח֖וּ אֶת־תְּרוּמָתִֽי׃“Tell the Israelites to bring Me an offering. 10En hulle moet ’n ark van akasiahout maak: twee en ’n halwe el sy lengte, en een en ’n halwe el sy breedte, en een en ’n halwe el sy hoogte.

Ongeveer 1,1 m lank, 0,7 m breed en 0,7 m hoog; ’n el is ongeveer 45 cm.

וְעָשׂ֥וּ אֲר֖וֹן עֲצֵ֣י שִׁטִּ֑ים אַמָּתַ֨יִם וָחֵ֜צִי אָרְכּ֗וֹ וְאַמָּ֤ה וָחֵ֨צִי֙ רָחְבּ֔וֹ וְאַמָּ֥ה וָחֵ֖צִי קֹמָתֽוֹ׃And they are to construct an ark of acacia wood, two and a half cubits long, a cubit and a half wide, and a cubit and a half high. 11Jy moet dit met rein goud oorlê; van binne en van buite moet jy dit oorlê. En jy moet daarop ’n goue rand rondom maak.וְצִפִּיתָ֤ אֹתוֹ֙ זָהָ֣ב טָה֔וֹר מִבַּ֥יִת וּמִח֖וּץ תְּצַפֶּ֑נּוּ וְעָשִׂ֧יתָ עָלָ֛יו זֵ֥ר זָהָ֖ב סָבִֽיב׃Overlay it with pure gold both inside and out, and make a gold molding around it. 12En jy moet vier goue ringe daarvoor giet en dit aan sy vier voete sit: twee ringe aan sy een sy en twee ringe aan sy ander sy.

וְיָצַ֣קְתָּ לּ֗וֹ אַרְבַּע֙ טַבְּעֹ֣ת זָהָ֔ב וְנָ֣תַתָּ֔ה עַ֖ל אַרְבַּ֣ע פַּעֲמֹתָ֑יו וּשְׁתֵּ֣י טַבָּעֹ֗ת עַל־צַלְעוֹ֙ הָֽאֶחָ֔ת וּשְׁתֵּי֙ טַבָּעֹ֔ת עַל־צַלְע֖וֹ הַשֵּׁנִֽית׃Cast four gold rings for it and fasten them to its four feet, two rings on one side and two on the other. 13En jy moet draagpale van akasiahout maak en dit met goud oortrek.וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ בַדֵּ֖י עֲצֵ֣י שִׁטִּ֑ים וְצִפִּיתָ֥ אֹתָ֖ם זָהָֽב׃And make poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold. 14En jy moet die draagpale in die ringe aan die sye van die ark steek, om die ark daarmee te dra.וְהֵֽבֵאתָ֤ אֶת־הַבַּדִּים֙ בַּטַּבָּעֹ֔ת עַ֖ל צַלְעֹ֣ת הָאָרֹ֑ן לָשֵׂ֥את אֶת־הָאָרֹ֖ן בָּהֶֽם׃Insert the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark, in order to carry it. 15In die ringe van die ark moet die draagstokke bly; hulle mag nie daarvan verwyder word nie.בְּטַבְּעֹת֙ הָאָרֹ֔ן יִהְי֖וּ הַבַּדִּ֑ים לֹ֥א יָסֻ֖רוּ מִמֶּֽנּוּ׃The poles are to remain in the rings of the ark; they must not be removed. 16En jy moet in die ark die getuienis sit wat Ek aan jou sal gee.וְנָתַתָּ֖ אֶל־הָאָרֹ֑ן אֵ֚ת הָעֵדֻ֔ת אֲשֶׁ֥ר אֶתֵּ֖ן אֵלֶֽיךָ׃And place inside the ark the Testimony, which I will give you. 17Jy moet ’n versoendeksel van rein goud maak: twee en ’n halwe el lank en ’n el en ’n halwe breed.

Ongeveer 110 cm lank en 70 cm breed.

וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ כַפֹּ֖רֶת זָהָ֣ב טָה֑וֹר אַמָּתַ֤יִם וָחֵ֨צִי֙ אָרְכָּ֔הּ וְאַמָּ֥ה וָחֵ֖צִי רָחְבָּֽהּ׃And you are to construct a mercy seat of pure gold, two and a half cubits long and a cubit and a half wide. 18En jy moet twee gerubs van goud maak; van dryfwerk moet jy hulle maak, aan die twee ente van die versoendeksel.וְעָשִׂ֛יתָ שְׁנַ֥יִם כְּרֻבִ֖ים זָהָ֑ב מִקְשָׁה֙ תַּעֲשֶׂ֣ה אֹתָ֔ם מִשְּׁנֵ֖י קְצ֥וֹת הַכַּפֹּֽרֶת׃Make two cherubim of hammered gold at the ends of the mercy seat, 19En maak een gerub aan die een ent en een gerub aan die ander ent; uit die versoendeksel moet julle die gerubs maak, aan sy twee ente.וַ֠עֲשֵׂה כְּר֨וּב אֶחָ֤ד מִקָּצָה֙ מִזֶּ֔ה וּכְרוּב־אֶחָ֥ד מִקָּצָ֖ה מִזֶּ֑ה מִן־הַכַּפֹּ֛רֶת תַּעֲשׂ֥וּ אֶת־הַכְּרֻבִ֖ים עַל־שְׁנֵ֥י קְצוֹתָֽיו׃one cherub on one end and one on the other, all made from one piece of gold. 20En die gerubs moet die vlerke na bo uitsprei, terwyl hulle met hulle vlerke die versoendeksel oordek, en hulle gesigte na mekaar toe; na die versoendeksel toe moet die gesigte van die gerubs wees.

וְהָי֣וּ הַכְּרֻבִים֩ פֹּרְשֵׂ֨י כְנָפַ֜יִם לְמַ֗עְלָה סֹכְכִ֤ים בְּכַנְפֵיהֶם֙ עַל־הַכַּפֹּ֔רֶת וּפְנֵיהֶ֖ם אִ֣ישׁ אֶל־אָחִ֑יו אֶל־הַכַּפֹּ֔רֶת יִהְי֖וּ פְּנֵ֥י הַכְּרֻבִֽים׃And the cherubim are to have wings that spread upward, overshadowing the mercy seat. The cherubim are to face each other, looking toward the mercy seat. 21En jy moet die versoendeksel bo-op die ark sit, en in die ark moet jy die getuienis sit wat Ek aan jou sal gee.וְנָתַתָּ֧ אֶת־הַכַּפֹּ֛רֶת עַל־הָאָרֹ֖ן מִלְמָ֑עְלָה וְאֶל־הָ֣אָרֹ֔ן תִּתֵּן֙ אֶת־הָ֣עֵדֻ֔ת אֲשֶׁ֥ר אֶתֵּ֖ן אֵלֶֽיךָ׃Set the mercy seat atop the ark and put the Testimony that I will give you into the ark. 22En daar sal Ek jou ontmoet, en Ek sal met jou praat van bo die versoendeksel af, tussen die twee gerubs uit wat op die ark van die getuienis is, oor alles wat Ek jou vir die Israeliete sal beveel.וְנוֹעַדְתִּ֣י לְךָ֮ שָׁם֒ וְדִבַּרְתִּ֨י אִתְּךָ֜ מֵעַ֣ל הַכַּפֹּ֗רֶת מִבֵּין֙ שְׁנֵ֣י הַכְּרֻבִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל־אֲרֹ֣ן הָעֵדֻ֑ת אֵ֣ת כָּל־אֲשֶׁ֧ר אֲצַוֶּ֛ה אוֹתְךָ֖ אֶל־בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ פAnd I will meet with you there above the mercy seat, between the two cherubim that are over the ark of the Testimony; I will speak with you about all that I command you regarding the Israelites.

23En jy moet ’n tafel van akasiahout maak: twee el sy lengte, en een el sy breedte, en een en ’n halwe el sy hoogte.

Ongeveer 90 cm lank, 45 cm breed en 70 cm hoog.

וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ שֻׁלְחָ֖ן עֲצֵ֣י שִׁטִּ֑ים אַמָּתַ֤יִם אָרְכּוֹ֙ וְאַמָּ֣ה רָחְבּ֔וֹ וְאַמָּ֥ה וָחֵ֖צִי קֹמָתֽוֹ׃You are also to make a table of acacia wood two cubits long, a cubit wide, and a cubit and a half high. 24Jy moet dit met rein goud oorlê en daarvoor ’n goue rand rondom maak.וְצִפִּיתָ֥ אֹת֖וֹ זָהָ֣ב טָה֑וֹר וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ לּ֛וֹ זֵ֥ר זָהָ֖ב סָבִֽיב׃Overlay it with pure gold and make a gold molding around it. 25En jy moet daarvoor ’n raam van ’n handbreedte rondom maak, en jy moet ’n goue rand vir sy raam rondom maak.

Ongeveer 7,5 cm.

וְעָשִׂ֨יתָ לּ֥וֹ מִסְגֶּ֛רֶת טֹ֖פַח סָבִ֑יב וְעָשִׂ֧יתָ זֵר־זָהָ֛ב לְמִסְגַּרְתּ֖וֹ סָבִֽיב׃And make a rim around it a handbreadth wide and put a gold molding on the rim. 26En jy moet vier goue ringe daarvoor maak en die ringe aan die vier hoeke sit wat by sy vier pote is.וְעָשִׂ֣יתָ לּ֔וֹ אַרְבַּ֖ע טַבְּעֹ֣ת זָהָ֑ב וְנָתַתָּ֙ אֶת־הַטַּבָּעֹ֔ת עַ֚ל אַרְבַּ֣ע הַפֵּאֹ֔ת אֲשֶׁ֖ר לְאַרְבַּ֥ע רַגְלָֽיו׃Make four gold rings for the table and fasten them to the four corners at its four legs. 27Teenaan die lys moet die ringe wees, as houers vir die draagstokke om die tafel te dra.

לְעֻמַּת֙ הַמִּסְגֶּ֔רֶת תִּהְיֶ֖יןָ הַטַּבָּעֹ֑ת לְבָתִּ֣ים לְבַדִּ֔ים לָשֵׂ֖את אֶת־הַשֻּׁלְחָֽן׃The rings are to be close to the rim, to serve as holders for the poles used to carry the table. 28En jy moet die draagpale van akasiahout maak en dit met goud oortrek, en die tafel moet daarmee gedra word.וְעָשִׂ֤יתָ אֶת־הַבַּדִּים֙ עֲצֵ֣י שִׁטִּ֔ים וְצִפִּיתָ֥ אֹתָ֖ם זָהָ֑ב וְנִשָּׂא־בָ֖ם אֶת־הַשֻּׁלְחָֽן׃Make the poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold, so that the table may be carried with them. 29Jy moet sy skottels en sy skale en sy kruike en sy bekers maak waarmee uitgegiet word; van rein goud moet jy dit maak.וְעָשִׂ֨יתָ קְּעָרֹתָ֜יו וְכַפֹּתָ֗יו וּקְשׂוֹתָיו֙ וּמְנַקִּיֹּתָ֔יו אֲשֶׁ֥ר יֻסַּ֖ךְ בָּהֵ֑ן זָהָ֥ב טָה֖וֹר תַּעֲשֶׂ֥ה אֹתָֽם׃You are also to make the plates and dishes, as well as the pitchers and bowls for pouring drink offerings. Make them out of pure gold. 30En jy moet op die tafel brood van die aangesig sit, voor My aangesig, altyd.”וְנָתַתָּ֧ עַֽל־הַשֻּׁלְחָ֛ן לֶ֥חֶם פָּנִ֖ים לְפָנַ֥י תָּמִֽיד׃ פAnd place the Bread of the Presence on the table before Me at all times.

31Jy moet ’n kandelaar van rein goud maak; van gehamerde werk moet die kandelaar gemaak word: sy voet en sy tak, sy bekertjies, sy knoppe en sy blomme moet daaruit wees.וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ מְנֹרַ֖ת זָהָ֣ב טָה֑וֹר מִקְשָׁ֞ה תֵּעָשֶׂ֤ה הַמְּנוֹרָה֙ יְרֵכָ֣הּ וְקָנָ֔הּ גְּבִיעֶ֛יהָ כַּפְתֹּרֶ֥יהָ וּפְרָחֶ֖יהָ מִמֶּ֥נָּה יִהְיֽוּ׃Then you are to make a lampstand of pure, hammered gold. It shall be made of one piece, including its base and shaft, its cups, and its buds and petals. 32En ses takke moet uit sy sye uitgaan: drie takke van die kandelaar uit sy een kant en drie takke van die kandelaar uit sy tweede kant.וְשִׁשָּׁ֣ה קָנִ֔ים יֹצְאִ֖ים מִצִּדֶּ֑יהָ שְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה׀ קְנֵ֣י מְנֹרָ֗ה מִצִּדָּהּ֙ הָאֶחָ֔ד וּשְׁלֹשָׁה֙ קְנֵ֣י מְנֹרָ֔ה מִצִּדָּ֖הּ הַשֵּׁנִֽי׃Six branches are to extend from the sides of the lampstand—three on one side and three on the other. 33Drie kelke in die vorm van amandelblomme aan die een arm, ’n knop en ’n blom; en drie kelke in die vorm van amandelblomme aan die ander arm, ’n knop en ’n blom; so vir die ses arms wat uit die kandelaar uitkom.שְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה גְ֠בִעִים מְֽשֻׁקָּדִ֞ים בַּקָּנֶ֣ה הָאֶחָד֮ כַּפְתֹּ֣ר וָפֶרַח֒ וּשְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה גְבִעִ֗ים מְשֻׁקָּדִ֛ים בַּקָּנֶ֥ה הָאֶחָ֖ד כַּפְתֹּ֣ר וָפָ֑רַח כֵּ֚ן לְשֵׁ֣שֶׁת הַקָּנִ֔ים הַיֹּצְאִ֖ים מִן־הַמְּנֹרָֽה׃There are to be three cups shaped like almond blossoms on the first branch, each with buds and petals, three on the next branch, and the same for all six branches that extend from the lampstand. 34En aan die kandelaar vier kelke in die vorm van amandelblomme, sy knoppe en sy blomme.וּבַמְּנֹרָ֖ה אַרְבָּעָ֣ה גְבִעִ֑ים מְשֻׁקָּדִ֔ים כַּפְתֹּרֶ֖יהָ וּפְרָחֶֽיהָ׃And on the lampstand there shall be four cups shaped like almond blossoms with buds and petals. 35En ’n knop onder die twee takke daaruit, en ’n knop onder die twee takke daaruit, en ’n knop onder die twee takke daaruit, vir die ses takke wat uit die kandelaar uitgaan.וְכַפְתֹּ֡ר תַּחַת֩ שְׁנֵ֨י הַקָּנִ֜ים מִמֶּ֗נָּה וְכַפְתֹּר֙ תַּ֣חַת שְׁנֵ֤י הַקָּנִים֙ מִמֶּ֔נָּה וְכַפְתֹּ֕ר תַּחַת־שְׁנֵ֥י הַקָּנִ֖ים מִמֶּ֑נָּה לְשֵׁ֨שֶׁת֙ הַקָּנִ֔ים הַיֹּצְאִ֖ים מִן־הַמְּנֹרָֽה׃For the six branches that extend from the lampstand, a bud must be under the first pair of branches, a bud under the second pair, and a bud under the third pair. 36Hulle knoppe en hulle takke moet daaruit wees; dit alles moet een gehamerde stuk wees, van rein goud.כַּפְתֹּרֵיהֶ֥ם וּקְנֹתָ֖ם מִמֶּ֣נָּה יִהְי֑וּ כֻּלָּ֛הּ מִקְשָׁ֥ה אַחַ֖ת זָהָ֥ב טָהֽוֹר׃The buds and branches are to be all of one piece with the lampstand, hammered out of pure gold. 37Jy moet sy lampe maak, sewe; en sy lampe moet opgesit word sodat dit lig gee oor die voorkant daarvan.וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ אֶת־נֵרֹתֶ֖יהָ שִׁבְעָ֑ה וְהֶֽעֱלָה֙ אֶת־נֵ֣רֹתֶ֔יהָ וְהֵאִ֖יר עַל־עֵ֥בֶר פָּנֶֽיהָ׃Make seven lamps and set them up on the lampstand so that they illuminate the area in front of it. 38En sy snuiters en sy vuurpanne moet van rein goud wees.וּמַלְקָחֶ֥יהָ וּמַחְתֹּתֶ֖יהָ זָהָ֥ב טָהֽוֹר׃The wick trimmers and their trays must be of pure gold. 39Van een talent rein goud moet dit gemaak word, saam met al hierdie voorwerpe.

Ongeveer 34 kg.

כִּכָּ֛ר זָהָ֥ב טָה֖וֹר יַעֲשֶׂ֣ה אֹתָ֑הּ אֵ֥ת כָּל־הַכֵּלִ֖ים הָאֵֽלֶּה׃The lampstand and all these utensils shall be made from a talent of pure gold. 40En kyk, en maak dit volgens hulle patroon wat aan jou op die berg gewys word.”וּרְאֵ֖ה וַעֲשֵׂ֑ה בְּתַ֨בְנִיתָ֔ם אֲשֶׁר־אַתָּ֥ה מָרְאֶ֖ה בָּהָֽר׃ סSee to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.
