1En Moses het aan die Israeliete gesê volgens alles wat die HERE Moses beveel het.וַיֹּ֥אמֶר מֹשֶׁ֖ה אֶל־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל כְּכֹ֛ל אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־מֹשֶֽׁה׃ פThen Moses said to the heads of the tribes of Israel, “This is what the LORD has commanded:
2En Moses het met die hoofde van die stamme van die Israeliete gepraat en gesê: “Dit is die woord wat die HERE beveel het:וַיְדַבֵּ֤ר מֹשֶׁה֙ אֶל־רָאשֵׁ֣י הַמַּטּ֔וֹת לִבְנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֵאמֹ֑ר זֶ֣ה הַדָּבָ֔ר אֲשֶׁ֖ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָֽה׃If a man makes a vow to the LORD or swears an oath to obligate himself by a pledge, he must not break his word; he must do everything he has promised.3As 'n man 'n gelofte aan die HERE doen of 'n eed sweer om 'n verpligting op sy siel te lê, mag hy sy woord nie ontheilig nie; hy moet doen volgens alles wat uit sy mond uitgaan.אִישׁ֩ כִּֽי־יִדֹּ֨ר נֶ֜דֶר לַֽיהוָ֗ה אֽוֹ־הִשָּׁ֤בַע שְׁבֻעָה֙ לֶאְסֹ֤ר אִסָּר֙ עַל־נַפְשׁ֔וֹ לֹ֥א יַחֵ֖ל דְּבָר֑וֹ כְּכָל־הַיֹּצֵ֥א מִפִּ֖יו יַעֲשֶֽׂה׃And if a woman in her father’s house during her youth makes a vow to the LORD or obligates herself by a pledge,
4En wanneer ’n vrou ’n gelofte aan die HERE doen en ’n verpligting op haar neem in die huis van haar vader, in haar jeug,וְאִשָּׁ֕ה כִּֽי־תִדֹּ֥ר נֶ֖דֶר לַיהוָ֑ה וְאָסְרָ֥ה אִסָּ֛ר בְּבֵ֥ית אָבִ֖יהָ בִּנְעֻרֶֽיהָ׃and her father hears about her vow or pledge but says nothing to her, then all the vows or pledges by which she has bound herself shall stand.5en haar vader hoor haar gelofte en haar verpligting wat sy op haar siel gelê het, en haar vader bly stil teenoor haar, dan sal al haar geloftes bly staan, en elke verpligting wat sy op haar siel gelê het, sal bly staan.וְשָׁמַ֨ע אָבִ֜יהָ אֶת־נִדְרָ֗הּ וֶֽאֱסָרָהּ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר אָֽסְרָ֣ה עַל־נַפְשָׁ֔הּ וְהֶחֱרִ֥ישׁ לָ֖הּ אָבִ֑יהָ וְקָ֨מוּ֙ כָּל־נְדָרֶ֔יהָ וְכָל־אִסָּ֛ר אֲשֶׁר־אָסְרָ֥ה עַל־נַפְשָׁ֖הּ יָקֽוּם׃But if her father prohibits her on the day he hears about it, then none of the vows or pledges by which she has bound herself shall stand. The LORD will absolve her because her father has prohibited her.6Maar as haar vader haar teenhou op die dag dat hy dit hoor, sal al haar geloftes en haar verpligtinge wat sy op haar siel gelê het, nie bly staan nie; en die HERE sal haar vergewe, omdat haar vader haar teengehou het.וְאִם־הֵנִ֨יא אָבִ֣יהָ אֹתָהּ֮ בְּי֣וֹם שָׁמְעוֹ֒ כָּל־נְדָרֶ֗יהָ וֶֽאֱסָרֶ֛יהָ אֲשֶׁר־אָסְרָ֥ה עַל־נַפְשָׁ֖הּ לֹ֣א יָק֑וּם וַֽיהוָה֙ יִֽסְלַח־לָ֔הּ כִּי־הֵנִ֥יא אָבִ֖יהָ אֹתָֽהּ׃If a woman marries while under a vow or rash promise by which she has bound herself,7En as sy tog 'n man se vrou word, terwyl haar geloftes op haar is of die onbesonne uitspraak van haar lippe waarmee sy haar siel verbind het,aLetterlik: Hebreeus: as sy vir 'n man word, terwyl haar geloftes op haar is.וְאִם־הָי֤וֹ תִֽהְיֶה֙ לְאִ֔ישׁ וּנְדָרֶ֖יהָ עָלֶ֑יהָ א֚וֹ מִבְטָ֣א שְׂפָתֶ֔יהָ אֲשֶׁ֥ר אָסְרָ֖ה עַל־נַפְשָֽׁהּ׃and her husband hears of it but says nothing to her on that day, then the vows or pledges by which she has bound herself shall stand.8en haar man hoor dit op die dag dat hy dit hoor, en hy bly stil teenoor haar, dan sal haar geloftes bly staan, en haar verpligtinge wat sy op haar siel gelê het, sal bly staan.וְשָׁמַ֥ע אִישָׁ֛הּ בְּי֥וֹם שָׁמְע֖וֹ וְהֶחֱרִ֣ישׁ לָ֑הּ וְקָ֣מוּ נְדָרֶ֗יהָ וֶֽאֱסָרֶ֛הָ אֲשֶׁר־אָסְרָ֥ה עַל־נַפְשָׁ֖הּ יָקֻֽמוּ׃But if her husband prohibits her when he hears of it, he nullifies the vow that binds her or the rash promise she has made, and the LORD will absolve her.9Maar as haar man haar weerhou op die dag dat hy dit hoor, dan maak hy haar gelofte wat op haar is, en die onbedagte uitspraak van haar lippe waarmee sy ’n verpligting op haarself gelê het, ongeldig; en die HERE sal haar vergewe.וְ֠אִם בְּי֨וֹם שְׁמֹ֣עַ אִישָׁהּ֮ יָנִ֣יא אוֹתָהּ֒ וְהֵפֵ֗ר אֶת־נִדְרָהּ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָלֶ֔יהָ וְאֵת֙ מִבְטָ֣א שְׂפָתֶ֔יהָ אֲשֶׁ֥ר אָסְרָ֖ה עַל־נַפְשָׁ֑הּ וַיהוָ֖ה יִֽסְלַֽח־לָֽהּ׃Every vow a widow or divorced woman pledges to fulfill is binding on her.10Maar die gelofte van 'n weduwee en van 'n geskeide vrou, alles wat sy op haar siel gelê het, sal teen haar bly staan.וְנֵ֥דֶר אַלְמָנָ֖ה וּגְרוּשָׁ֑ה כֹּ֛ל אֲשֶׁר־אָסְרָ֥ה עַל־נַפְשָׁ֖הּ יָק֥וּם עָלֶֽיהָ׃If a woman in her husband’s house has made a vow or put herself under an obligation with an oath,11En as sy in die huis van haar man 'n gelofte gedoen het of 'n verpligting met 'n eed op haar siel gelê het,וְאִם־בֵּ֥ית אִישָׁ֖הּ נָדָ֑רָה אֽוֹ־אָסְרָ֥ה אִסָּ֛ר עַל־נַפְשָׁ֖הּ בִּשְׁבֻעָֽה׃and her husband hears of it but says nothing to her and does not prohibit her, then all the vows or pledges by which she has bound herself shall stand.12en haar man hoor dit en bly stil teenoor haar, en hy het haar nie teengehou nie, dan sal al haar geloftes bly staan, en elke verpligting wat sy op haar siel gelê het, sal bly staan.וְשָׁמַ֤ע אִישָׁהּ֙ וְהֶחֱרִ֣שׁ לָ֔הּ לֹ֥א הֵנִ֖יא אֹתָ֑הּ וְקָ֨מוּ֙ כָּל־נְדָרֶ֔יהָ וְכָל־אִסָּ֛ר אֲשֶׁר־אָסְרָ֥ה עַל־נַפְשָׁ֖הּ יָקֽוּם׃But if her husband nullifies them on the day he hears of them, then nothing that came from her lips, whether her vows or pledges, shall stand. Her husband has nullified them, and the LORD will absolve her.13Maar as haar man dit ongeldig maak, ja ongeldig maak, op die dag dat hy dit hoor, dan sal niks wat uit haar lippe uitgegaan het met betrekking tot haar geloftes en die verpligting van haar siel nie bly staan nie; haar man het dit ongeldig gemaak, en die HERE sal haar vergewe.וְאִם־הָפֵר֩ יָפֵ֨ר אֹתָ֥ם׀ אִישָׁהּ֮ בְּי֣וֹם שָׁמְעוֹ֒ כָּל־מוֹצָ֨א שְׂפָתֶ֧יהָ לִנְדָרֶ֛יהָ וּלְאִסַּ֥ר נַפְשָׁ֖הּ לֹ֣א יָק֑וּם אִישָׁ֣הּ הֲפֵרָ֔ם וַיהוָ֖ה יִֽסְלַֽח־לָֽהּ׃Her husband may confirm or nullify any vow or any sworn pledge to deny herself.14Elke gelofte en elke eed van verpligting om die siel te verootmoedig: haar man kan dit laat bly staan en haar man kan dit ongeldig maak.כָּל־נֵ֛דֶר וְכָל־שְׁבֻעַ֥ת אִסָּ֖ר לְעַנֹּ֣ת נָ֑פֶשׁ אִישָׁ֥הּ יְקִימֶ֖נּוּ וְאִישָׁ֥הּ יְפֵרֶֽנּוּ׃But if her husband says nothing to her from day to day, then he confirms all the vows and pledges that bind her. He has confirmed them, because he said nothing to her on the day he heard about them.15Maar as haar man van dag tot dag heeltemal teenoor haar swyg, dan bekragtig hy al haar geloftes of al haar verpligtings wat op haar is; hy het dit bekragtig, omdat hy teenoor haar geswyg het op die dag dat hy dit gehoor het.וְאִם־הַחֲרֵשׁ֩ יַחֲרִ֨ישׁ לָ֥הּ אִישָׁהּ֮ מִיּ֣וֹם אֶל־יוֹם֒ וְהֵקִים֙ אֶת־כָּל־נְדָרֶ֔יהָ א֥וֹ אֶת־כָּל־אֱסָרֶ֖יהָ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָלֶ֑יהָ הֵקִ֣ים אֹתָ֔ם כִּי־הֶחֱרִ֥שׁ לָ֖הּ בְּי֥וֹם שָׁמְעֽוֹ׃But if he nullifies them after he hears of them, then he will bear her iniquity.”16Maar as hy dit beslis ongeldig maak nadat hy dit gehoor het, dan sal hy haar ongeregtigheid dra.”וְאִם־הָפֵ֥ר יָפֵ֛ר אֹתָ֖ם אַחֲרֵ֣י שָׁמְע֑וֹ וְנָשָׂ֖א אֶת־עֲוֺנָֽהּ׃These are the statutes that the LORD commanded Moses concerning the relationship between a man and his wife, and between a father and a young daughter still in his home.
17Dit is die insettings wat die HERE Moses beveel het tussen ’n man en sy vrou, tussen ’n vader en sy dogter in haar jeug, in die huis van haar vader.אֵ֣לֶּה הַֽחֻקִּ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֨ר צִוָּ֤ה יְהוָה֙ אֶת־מֹשֶׁ֔ה בֵּ֥ין אִ֖ישׁ לְאִשְׁתּ֑וֹ בֵּֽין־אָ֣ב לְבִתּ֔וֹ בִּנְעֻרֶ֖יהָ בֵּ֥ית אָבִֽיהָ׃ פ
