1Die HERE het met Moses en met Aäron gepraat en gesê:וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה וְאֶֽל־אַהֲרֹ֖ן לֵאמֹֽר׃And the LORD said to Moses and Aaron,

2“Spreek met die Israeliete en sê vir hulle: ‘Wanneer enige man ’n vloeiing uit sy vlees het, is sy vloeiing onrein.דַּבְּרוּ֙ אֶל־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וַאֲמַרְתֶּ֖ם אֲלֵהֶ֑ם אִ֣ישׁ אִ֗ישׁ כִּ֤י יִהְיֶה֙ זָ֣ב מִבְּשָׂר֔וֹ זוֹב֖וֹ טָמֵ֥א הֽוּא׃“Say to the Israelites, ‘When any man has a bodily discharge, the discharge is unclean. 3En dit sal sy onreinheid wees by sy vloeiing: of sy vlees sy vloeiing laat uitloop, of sy vlees deur sy vloeiing verstop is — dit is sy onreinheid.וְזֹ֛את תִּהְיֶ֥ה טֻמְאָת֖וֹ בְּזוֹב֑וֹ רָ֣ר בְּשָׂר֞וֹ אֶת־זוֹב֗וֹ אֽוֹ־הֶחְתִּ֤ים בְּשָׂרוֹ֙ מִזּוֹב֔וֹ טֻמְאָת֖וֹ הִֽוא׃This uncleanness is from his discharge, whether his body allows the discharge to flow or blocks it. So his discharge will bring about uncleanness.

4Elke bed waarop die man met die vloeisel lê, sal onrein wees, en elke voorwerp waarop hy sit, sal onrein wees.כָּל־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֗ב אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִשְׁכַּ֥ב עָלָ֛יו הַזָּ֖ב יִטְמָ֑א וְכָֽל־הַכְּלִ֛י אֲשֶׁר־יֵשֵׁ֥ב עָלָ֖יו יִטְמָֽא׃Any bed on which the man with the discharge lies will be unclean, and any furniture on which he sits will be unclean. 5En iemand wat aan sy bed raak, moet sy klere was en in water bad, en hy sal onrein wees tot die aand.וְאִ֕ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֥ר יִגַּ֖ע בְּמִשְׁכָּב֑וֹ יְכַבֵּ֧ס בְּגָדָ֛יו וְרָחַ֥ץ בַּמַּ֖יִם וְטָמֵ֥א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃Anyone who touches his bed must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening. 6En wie op die voorwerp sit waarop die een met die vloeiing sit, moet sy klere was en in water bad, en hy sal onrein wees tot die aand.וְהַיֹּשֵׁב֙ עַֽל־הַכְּלִ֔י אֲשֶׁר־יֵשֵׁ֥ב עָלָ֖יו הַזָּ֑ב יְכַבֵּ֧ס בְּגָדָ֛יו וְרָחַ֥ץ בַּמַּ֖יִם וְטָמֵ֥א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃Whoever sits on furniture on which the man with the discharge was sitting must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening. 7En wie die vlees van die man met die vloeisel aanraak, moet sy klere was en hom in water bad en tot die aand onrein wees.וְהַנֹּגֵ֖עַ בִּבְשַׂ֣ר הַזָּ֑ב יְכַבֵּ֧ס בְּגָדָ֛יו וְרָחַ֥ץ בַּמַּ֖יִם וְטָמֵ֥א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃Whoever touches the body of the man with a discharge must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening. 8En wanneer die een met die vloeiing op ’n reine spoeg, moet dié sy klere was en in water bad, en hy sal onrein wees tot die aand.וְכִֽי־יָרֹ֛ק הַזָּ֖ב בַּטָּה֑וֹר וְכִבֶּ֧ס בְּגָדָ֛יו וְרָחַ֥ץ בַּמַּ֖יִם וְטָמֵ֥א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃If the man with the discharge spits on one who is clean, that person must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening. 9En elke saal waarop die man met die vloeisel ry, sal onrein wees.

וְכָל־הַמֶּרְכָּ֗ב אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִרְכַּ֥ב עָלָ֛יו הַזָּ֖ב יִטְמָֽא׃Any saddle on which the man with the discharge rides will be unclean. 10En elkeen wat aan enigiets raak wat onder hom is, sal onrein wees tot die aand; en wie dit dra, moet sy klere was en in water bad, en hy sal onrein wees tot die aand.וְכָל־הַנֹּגֵ֗עַ בְּכֹל֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יִהְיֶ֣ה תַחְתָּ֔יו יִטְמָ֖א עַד־הָעָ֑רֶב וְהַנּוֹשֵׂ֣א אוֹתָ֔ם יְכַבֵּ֧ס בְּגָדָ֛יו וְרָחַ֥ץ בַּמַּ֖יִם וְטָמֵ֥א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃Whoever touches anything that was under him will be unclean until evening, and whoever carries such things must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening. 11En elkeen aan wie die een met die vloeiing raak sonder dat hy sy hande in water afgespoel het, moet sy klere was en in water bad, en hy sal onrein wees tot die aand.וְכֹ֨ל אֲשֶׁ֤ר יִגַּע־בּוֹ֙ הַזָּ֔ב וְיָדָ֖יו לֹא־שָׁטַ֣ף בַּמָּ֑יִם וְכִבֶּ֧ס בְּגָדָ֛יו וְרָחַ֥ץ בַּמַּ֖יִם וְטָמֵ֥א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃If the man with the discharge touches anyone without first rinsing his hands with water, the one who was touched must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening. 12En ’n erdevoorwerp waaraan die een met die vloeiing raak, moet gebreek word, en elke houtvoorwerp moet in water afgespoel word.וּכְלִי־חֶ֛רֶשׂ אֲשֶׁר־יִגַּע־בּ֥וֹ הַזָּ֖ב יִשָּׁבֵ֑ר וְכָל־כְּלִי־עֵ֔ץ יִשָּׁטֵ֖ף בַּמָּֽיִם׃Any clay pot that the man with the discharge touches must be broken, and any wooden utensil must be rinsed with water.

13En wanneer die man met die vloeisel van sy vloeisel rein word, moet hy vir hom sewe dae tel vir sy reiniging, en sy klere was en sy vlees in lewende water bad, en hy sal rein wees.

וְכִֽי־יִטְהַ֤ר הַזָּב֙ מִזּוֹב֔וֹ וְסָ֨פַר ל֜וֹ שִׁבְעַ֥ת יָמִ֛ים לְטָהֳרָת֖וֹ וְכִבֶּ֣ס בְּגָדָ֑יו וְרָחַ֧ץ בְּשָׂר֛וֹ בְּמַ֥יִם חַיִּ֖ים וְטָהֵֽר׃When the man has been cleansed from his discharge, he must count off seven days for his cleansing, wash his clothes, and bathe himself in fresh water, and he shall be clean. 14En op die agtste dag moet hy vir hom twee tortelduiwe neem, of twee jong duiwe, en voor die aangesig van die HERE kom, by die ingang van die tent van samekoms, en hulle aan die priester gee.

וּבַיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁמִינִ֗י יִֽקַּֽח־לוֹ֙ שְׁתֵּ֣י תֹרִ֔ים א֥וֹ שְׁנֵ֖י בְּנֵ֣י יוֹנָ֑ה וּבָ֣א׀ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֗ה אֶל־פֶּ֨תַח֙ אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֔ד וּנְתָנָ֖ם אֶל־הַכֹּהֵֽן׃On the eighth day he is to take two turtledoves or two young pigeons, come before the LORD at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, and give them to the priest. 15En die priester moet hulle berei, die een as sondoffer en die ander as brandoffer, en die priester moet vir hom voor die aangesig van die HERE versoening doen weens sy vloeisel.וְעָשָׂ֤ה אֹתָם֙ הַכֹּהֵ֔ן אֶחָ֣ד חַטָּ֔את וְהָאֶחָ֖ד עֹלָ֑ה וְכִפֶּ֨ר עָלָ֧יו הַכֹּהֵ֛ן לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָ֖ה מִזּוֹבֽוֹ׃ סThe priest is to sacrifice them, one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering. In this way the priest will make atonement for the man before the LORD because of his discharge.

וְאִ֕ישׁ כִּֽי־תֵצֵ֥א מִמֶּ֖נּוּ שִׁכְבַת־זָ֑רַע וְרָחַ֥ץ בַּמַּ֛יִם אֶת־כָּל־בְּשָׂר֖וֹ וְטָמֵ֥א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃When a man has an emission of semen, he must bathe his whole body with water, and he will be unclean until evening. 17En elke kleed en elke vel waarop ’n saadstorting kom, moet in water gewas word, en dit sal onrein wees tot die aand.וְכָל־בֶּ֣גֶד וְכָל־ע֔וֹר אֲשֶׁר־יִהְיֶ֥ה עָלָ֖יו שִׁכְבַת־זָ֑רַע וְכֻבַּ֥ס בַּמַּ֖יִם וְטָמֵ֥א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃ פAny clothing or leather on which there is an emission of semen must be washed with water, and it will remain unclean until evening. 18En ’n vrou by wie ’n man lê met ’n saadstorting: hulle moet in water bad, en hulle sal onrein wees tot die aand.וְאִשָּׁ֕ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִשְׁכַּ֥ב אִ֛ישׁ אֹתָ֖הּ שִׁכְבַת־זָ֑רַע וְרָחֲצ֣וּ בַמַּ֔יִם וְטָמְא֖וּ עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃If a man lies with a woman and there is an emission of semen, both must bathe with water, and they will remain unclean until evening.

19En wanneer ’n vrou ’n vloeiing het, en haar vloeiing in haar vlees bloed is, sal sy sewe dae in haar maandstonde wees, en elkeen wat aan haar raak, sal onrein wees tot die aand.וְאִשָּׁה֙ כִּֽי־תִהְיֶ֣ה זָבָ֔ה דָּ֛ם יִהְיֶ֥ה זֹבָ֖הּ בִּבְשָׂרָ֑הּ שִׁבְעַ֤ת יָמִים֙ תִּהְיֶ֣ה בְנִדָּתָ֔הּ וְכָל־הַנֹּגֵ֥עַ בָּ֖הּ יִטְמָ֥א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃When a woman has a discharge consisting of blood from her body, she will be unclean due to her menstruation for seven days, and anyone who touches her will be unclean until evening. 20En alles waarop sy in haar maandstonde lê, sal onrein wees, en alles waarop sy sit, sal onrein wees.וְכֹל֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר תִּשְׁכַּ֥ב עָלָ֛יו בְּנִדָּתָ֖הּ יִטְמָ֑א וְכֹ֛ל אֲשֶׁר־תֵּשֵׁ֥ב עָלָ֖יו יִטְמָֽא׃Anything on which she lies or sits during her menstruation will be unclean, 21En elkeen wat aan haar bed raak, moet sy klere was en in water bad, en hy sal onrein wees tot die aand.וְכָל־הַנֹּגֵ֖עַ בְּמִשְׁכָּבָ֑הּ יְכַבֵּ֧ס בְּגָדָ֛יו וְרָחַ֥ץ בַּמַּ֖יִם וְטָמֵ֥א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃and anyone who touches her bed must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening. 22En elkeen wat aan enige voorwerp raak waarop sy sit, moet sy klere was en in water bad, en hy sal onrein wees tot die aand.וְכָל־הַנֹּגֵ֔עַ בְּכָל־כְּלִ֖י אֲשֶׁר־תֵּשֵׁ֣ב עָלָ֑יו יְכַבֵּ֧ס בְּגָדָ֛יו וְרָחַ֥ץ בַּמַּ֖יִם וְטָמֵ֥א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃Whoever touches any furniture on which she was sitting must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening. 23En as dit op die bed is of op die voorwerp waarop sy sit, sal hy, wanneer hy daaraan raak, onrein wees tot die aand.

וְאִ֨ם עַֽל־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֜ב ה֗וּא א֧וֹ עַֽל־הַכְּלִ֛י אֲשֶׁר־הִ֥וא יֹשֶֽׁבֶת־עָלָ֖יו בְּנָגְעוֹ־ב֑וֹ יִטְמָ֖א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃And whether it is a bed or furniture on which she was sitting, whoever touches it will be unclean until evening. 24En as ’n man werklik by haar lê en haar maandstonde op hom kom, sal hy sewe dae onrein wees, en elke bed waarop hy lê, sal onrein wees.וְאִ֡ם שָׁכֹב֩ יִשְׁכַּ֨ב אִ֜ישׁ אֹתָ֗הּ וּתְהִ֤י נִדָּתָהּ֙ עָלָ֔יו וְטָמֵ֖א שִׁבְעַ֣ת יָמִ֑ים וְכָל־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֛ב אֲשֶׁר־יִשְׁכַּ֥ב עָלָ֖יו יִטְמָֽא׃ פIf a man lies with her and her menstrual flow touches him, he will be unclean for seven days, and any bed on which he lies will become unclean.

25En 'n vrou wat baie dae lank 'n vloeisel van haar bloed het buite die tyd van haar maandstonde, of wanneer sy oor haar maandstonde heen vloei: al die dae van die vloeisel van haar onreinheid sal sy wees soos in die dae van haar maandstonde; sy is onrein.וְאִשָּׁ֡ה כִּֽי־יָזוּב֩ ז֨וֹב דָּמָ֜הּ יָמִ֣ים רַבִּ֗ים בְּלֹא֙ עֶת־נִדָּתָ֔הּ א֥וֹ כִֽי־תָז֖וּב עַל־נִדָּתָ֑הּ כָּל־יְמֵ֞י ז֣וֹב טֻמְאָתָ֗הּ כִּימֵ֧י נִדָּתָ֛הּ תִּהְיֶ֖ה טְמֵאָ֥ה הִֽוא׃When a woman has a discharge of her blood for many days at a time other than her menstrual period, or if it continues beyond her period, she will be unclean all the days of her unclean discharge, just as she is during the days of her menstruation. 26Elke bed waarop sy lê al die dae van haar vloeiing, sal vir haar wees soos die bed van haar maandstonde, en elke voorwerp waarop sy sit, sal onrein wees soos die onreinheid van haar maandstonde.כָּל־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֞ב אֲשֶׁר־תִּשְׁכַּ֤ב עָלָיו֙ כָּל־יְמֵ֣י זוֹבָ֔הּ כְּמִשְׁכַּ֥ב נִדָּתָ֖הּ יִֽהְיֶה־לָּ֑הּ וְכָֽל־הַכְּלִי֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר תֵּשֵׁ֣ב עָלָ֔יו טָמֵ֣א יִהְיֶ֔ה כְּטֻמְאַ֖ת נִדָּתָֽהּ׃Any bed on which she lies or any furniture on which she sits during the days of her discharge will be unclean, like her bed during her menstrual period. 27En elkeen wat daaraan raak, sal onrein wees, en hy moet sy klere was en in water bad, en hy sal onrein wees tot die aand.וְכָל־הַנּוֹגֵ֥עַ בָּ֖ם יִטְמָ֑א וְכִבֶּ֧ס בְּגָדָ֛יו וְרָחַ֥ץ בַּמַּ֖יִם וְטָמֵ֥א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃Anyone who touches these things will be unclean; he must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening. 28En as sy rein geword het van haar vloeiing, moet sy vir haar sewe dae tel, en daarna sal sy rein wees.וְאִֽם־טָהֲרָ֖ה מִזּוֹבָ֑הּ וְסָ֥פְרָה לָּ֛הּ שִׁבְעַ֥ת יָמִ֖ים וְאַחַ֥ר תִּטְהָֽר׃When a woman is cleansed of her discharge, she must count off seven days, and after that she will be ceremonially clean. 29En op die agtste dag moet sy vir haar twee tortelduiwe of twee jong duiwe neem en hulle na die priester bring, na die ingang van die tent van samekoms.וּבַיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁמִינִ֗י תִּֽקַּֽח־לָהּ֙ שְׁתֵּ֣י תֹרִ֔ים א֥וֹ שְׁנֵ֖י בְּנֵ֣י יוֹנָ֑ה וְהֵבִיאָ֤ה אוֹתָם֙ אֶל־הַכֹּהֵ֔ן אֶל־פֶּ֖תַח אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃On the eighth day she is to take two turtledoves or two young pigeons and bring them to the priest at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. 30En die priester moet die een as sondoffer berei en die ander as brandoffer, en die priester moet vir haar voor die aangesig van die HERE versoening doen weens die vloeisel van haar onreinheid.וְעָשָׂ֤ה הַכֹּהֵן֙ אֶת־הָאֶחָ֣ד חַטָּ֔את וְאֶת־הָאֶחָ֖ד עֹלָ֑ה וְכִפֶּ֨ר עָלֶ֤יהָ הַכֹּהֵן֙ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה מִזּ֖וֹב טֻמְאָתָֽהּ׃The priest is to sacrifice one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering. In this way the priest will make atonement for her before the LORD for her unclean discharge.

31So moet julle die Israeliete van hulle onreinheid afsonder, sodat hulle nie in hulle onreinheid sterf wanneer hulle My tabernakel onrein maak wat in hulle midde is nie.וְהִזַּרְתֶּ֥ם אֶת־בְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מִטֻּמְאָתָ֑ם וְלֹ֤א יָמֻ֨תוּ֙ בְּטֻמְאָתָ֔ם בְּטַמְּאָ֥ם אֶת־מִשְׁכָּנִ֖י אֲשֶׁ֥ר בְּתוֹכָֽם׃You must keep the children of Israel separate from their uncleanness, so that they do not die by defiling My tabernacle, which is among them. 32Dit is die wet vir die man met die vloeisel, en vir hom uit wie saadlosing uitgaan sodat hy daardeur onrein word,זֹ֥את תּוֹרַ֖ת הַזָּ֑ב וַאֲשֶׁ֨ר תֵּצֵ֥א מִמֶּ֛נּוּ שִׁכְבַת־זֶ֖רַע לְטָמְאָה־בָֽהּ׃This is the law of him who has a discharge, of the man who has an emission of semen whereby he is unclean, 33en vir haar wat siek is in haar maandstonde, en vir die een met 'n vloeisel, vir die manlike en vir die vroulike, en vir 'n man wat lê by 'n onrein vrou.וְהַדָּוָה֙ בְּנִדָּתָ֔הּ וְהַזָּב֙ אֶת־זוֹב֔וֹ לַזָּכָ֖ר וְלַנְּקֵבָ֑ה וּלְאִ֕ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֥ר יִשְׁכַּ֖ב עִם־טְמֵאָֽה׃ פof a woman in her menstrual period, of any male or female who has a discharge, and of a man who lies with an unclean woman.’”
