1En die HERE het met Moses gepraat en gesê:וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃And the LORD said to Moses, 2“Gebied Aäron en sy seuns en sê: ‘Dit is die wet van die brandoffer. Dit, die brandoffer, moet die hele nag tot die môre op die vuurherd op die altaar bly, en die vuur van die altaar moet daarop brandend gehou word.צַ֤ו אֶֽת־אַהֲרֹן֙ וְאֶת־בָּנָ֣יו לֵאמֹ֔ר זֹ֥את תּוֹרַ֖ת הָעֹלָ֑ה הִ֣וא הָעֹלָ֡ה עַל֩ מוֹקְדָ֨ה עַל־הַמִּזְבֵּ֤חַ כָּל־הַלַּ֨יְלָה֙ עַד־הַבֹּ֔קֶר וְאֵ֥שׁ הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ תּ֥וּקַד בּֽוֹ׃“If someone sins and acts unfaithfully against the LORD by deceiving his neighbor in regard to a deposit or security entrusted to him or stolen, or if he extorts his neighbor 3En die priester moet sy linnekleed aantrek, en ’n linnebroek moet hy oor sy liggaam aantrek, en hy moet die as wegneem van die brandoffer wat die vuur op die altaar verteer het, en dit langs die altaar neersit.וְלָבַ֨שׁ הַכֹּהֵ֜ן מִדּ֣וֹ בַ֗ד וּמִֽכְנְסֵי־בַד֮ יִלְבַּ֣שׁ עַל־בְּשָׂרוֹ֒ וְהֵרִ֣ים אֶת־הַדֶּ֗שֶׁן אֲשֶׁ֨ר תֹּאכַ֥ל הָאֵ֛שׁ אֶת־הָעֹלָ֖ה עַל־הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַ וְשָׂמ֕וֹ אֵ֖צֶל הַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃or finds lost property and lies about it and swears falsely, or if he commits any such sin that a man might commit— 4En hy moet sy klere uittrek en ander klere aantrek, en die as uitdra na buite die laer, na ’n rein plek.וּפָשַׁט֙ אֶת־בְּגָדָ֔יו וְלָבַ֖שׁ בְּגָדִ֣ים אֲחֵרִ֑ים וְהוֹצִ֤יא אֶת־הַדֶּ֨שֶׁן֙ אֶל־מִח֣וּץ לַֽמַּחֲנֶ֔ה אֶל־מָק֖וֹם טָהֽוֹר׃once he has sinned and becomes guilty, he must return what he has stolen or taken by extortion, or the deposit entrusted to him, or the lost property he found, 5En die vuur op die altaar moet daarop brandend gehou word; dit mag nie uitgaan nie. En die priester moet elke môre hout daarop aan die brand steek, en hy moet die brandoffer daarop rangskik en die vet van die vredeoffers daarop in rook laat opgaan.

וְהָאֵ֨שׁ עַל־הַמִּזְבֵּ֤חַ תּֽוּקַד־בּוֹ֙ לֹ֣א תִכְבֶּ֔ה וּבִעֵ֨ר עָלֶ֧יהָ הַכֹּהֵ֛ן עֵצִ֖ים בַּבֹּ֣קֶר בַּבֹּ֑קֶר וְעָרַ֤ךְ עָלֶ֨יהָ֙ הָֽעֹלָ֔ה וְהִקְטִ֥יר עָלֶ֖יהָ חֶלְבֵ֥י הַשְּׁלָמִֽים׃or anything else about which he has sworn falsely. He must make restitution in full, add a fifth of the value, and pay it to the owner on the day he acknowledges his guilt. 6’n Vuur moet voortdurend op die altaar brandend gehou word; dit mag nie uitgaan nie.אֵ֗שׁ תָּמִ֛יד תּוּקַ֥ד עַל־הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ לֹ֥א תִכְבֶֽה׃ סThen he must bring to the priest his guilt offering to the LORD: an unblemished ram of proper value from the flock.

7En dit is die wet van die graanoffer: Die seuns van Aäron moet dit voor die aangesig van die <nd>HERE</nd> bring, voor die altaar.וְזֹ֥את תּוֹרַ֖ת הַמִּנְחָ֑ה הַקְרֵ֨ב אֹתָ֤הּ בְּנֵֽי־אַהֲרֹן֙ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה אֶל־פְּנֵ֖י הַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃In this way the priest will make atonement for him before the LORD, and he will be forgiven for anything he may have done to incur guilt.” 8En hy moet daarvan sy handvol afneem, van die fynmeel van die graanoffer en van sy olie, en al die wierook wat op die graanoffer is, en hy moet dit op die altaar in rook laat opgaan as ’n aangename geur, as gedenkdeel daarvan, vir die HERE.וְהֵרִ֨ים מִמֶּ֜נּוּ בְּקֻמְצ֗וֹ מִסֹּ֤לֶת הַמִּנְחָה֙ וּמִשַּׁמְנָ֔הּ וְאֵת֙ כָּל־הַלְּבֹנָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל־הַמִּנְחָ֑ה וְהִקְטִ֣יר הַמִּזְבֵּ֗חַ רֵ֧יחַ נִיחֹ֛חַ אַזְכָּרָתָ֖הּ לַיהוָֽה׃Then the LORD said to Moses, 9En wat daarvan oorbly, moet Aäron en sy seuns eet. Ongesuurd moet dit op ’n heilige plek geëet word; in die voorhof van die tent van samekoms moet hulle dit eet.וְהַנּוֹתֶ֣רֶת מִמֶּ֔נָּה יֹאכְל֖וּ אַהֲרֹ֣ן וּבָנָ֑יו מַצּ֤וֹת תֵּֽאָכֵל֙ בְּמָק֣וֹם קָדֹ֔שׁ בַּחֲצַ֥ר אֹֽהֶל־מוֹעֵ֖ד יֹאכְלֽוּהָ׃“Command Aaron and his sons that this is the law of the burnt offering: The burnt offering is to remain on the hearth of the altar all night, until morning, and the fire must be kept burning on the altar. 10Dit mag nie met suurdeeg gebak word nie. As hulle deel het Ek dit gegee uit My vuuroffers. Dit is hoogheilig, soos die sondoffer en soos die skuldoffer.לֹ֤א תֵאָפֶה֙ חָמֵ֔ץ חֶלְקָ֛ם נָתַ֥תִּי אֹתָ֖הּ מֵאִשָּׁ֑י קֹ֤דֶשׁ קָֽדָשִׁים֙ הִ֔וא כַּחַטָּ֖את וְכָאָשָֽׁם׃And the priest shall put on his linen robe and linen undergarments, and he shall remove from the altar the ashes of the burnt offering that the fire has consumed and place them beside it. 11Elke manlike persoon onder die seuns van Aäron mag dit eet, as ’n ewige insetting vir julle geslagte, uit die vuuroffers van die <nd>HERE</nd>. Alles wat dit aanraak, sal heilig wees.

כָּל־זָכָ֞ר בִּבְנֵ֤י אַהֲרֹן֙ יֹֽאכֲלֶ֔נָּה חָק־עוֹלָם֙ לְדֹרֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם מֵאִשֵּׁ֖י יְהוָ֑ה כֹּ֛ל אֲשֶׁר־יִגַּ֥ע בָּהֶ֖ם יִקְדָּֽשׁ׃ פThen he must take off his garments, put on other clothes, and carry the ashes outside the camp to a ceremonially clean place.

12En die HERE het met Moses gepraat en gesê:וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃The fire on the altar shall be kept burning; it must not be extinguished. Every morning the priest is to add wood to the fire, arrange the burnt offering on it, and burn the fat portions of the peace offerings on it. 13“Dit is die offergawe van Aäron en sy seuns wat hulle vir die <nd>HERE</nd> moet bring op die dag wanneer hy gesalf word: ’n tiende van ’n efa fyn meel as ’n voortdurende graanoffer, die helfte daarvan in die môre en die helfte daarvan in die aand.

Ongeveer 2,2 liter.

זֶ֡ה קָרְבַּן֩ אַהֲרֹ֨ן וּבָנָ֜יו אֲשֶׁר־יַקְרִ֣יבוּ לַֽיהוָ֗ה בְּיוֹם֙ הִמָּשַׁ֣ח אֹת֔וֹ עֲשִׂירִ֨ת הָאֵפָ֥ה סֹ֛לֶת מִנְחָ֖ה תָּמִ֑יד מַחֲצִיתָ֣הּ בַּבֹּ֔קֶר וּמַחֲצִיתָ֖הּ בָּעָֽרֶב׃The fire shall be kept burning on the altar continually; it must not be extinguished. 14Op ’n bakplaat moet dit met olie berei word; deurmeng moet jy dit bring. Gebakte stukke van die graanoffer, in stukke gebreek, moet jy aanbied as ’n aangename geur vir die HERE.

עַֽל־מַחֲבַ֗ת בַּשֶּׁ֛מֶן תֵּעָשֶׂ֖ה מֻרְבֶּ֣כֶת תְּבִיאֶ֑נָּה תֻּפִינֵי֙ מִנְחַ֣ת פִּתִּ֔ים תַּקְרִ֥יב רֵֽיחַ־נִיחֹ֖חַ לַיהוָֽה׃Now this is the law of the grain offering: Aaron’s sons shall present it before the LORD in front of the altar. 15En die gesalfde priester wat in sy plek uit sy seuns kom, moet dit berei. Dit is ’n ewige insetting vir die HERE; dit moet geheel en al in rook opgaan.וְהַכֹּהֵ֨ן הַמָּשִׁ֧יחַ תַּחְתָּ֛יו מִבָּנָ֖יו יַעֲשֶׂ֣ה אֹתָ֑הּ חָק־עוֹלָ֕ם לַיהוָ֖ה כָּלִ֥יל תָּקְטָֽר׃The priest is to remove a handful of fine flour and olive oil, together with all the frankincense from the grain offering, and burn the memorial portion on the altar as a pleasing aroma to the LORD. 16En elke graanoffer van ’n priester moet geheel en al verbrand word; dit mag nie geëet word nie.

וְכָל־מִנְחַ֥ת כֹּהֵ֛ן כָּלִ֥יל תִּהְיֶ֖ה לֹ֥א תֵאָכֵֽל׃ פAaron and his sons are to eat the remainder. It must be eaten without leaven in a holy place; they are to eat it in the courtyard of the Tent of Meeting.

17En die HERE het met Moses gepraat en gesê:וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃It must not be baked with leaven; I have assigned it as their portion of My food offerings. It is most holy, like the sin offering and the guilt offering.

18“Praat met Aäron en met sy seuns en sê: ‘Dit is die wet van die sondoffer. Op die plek waar die brandoffer geslag word, moet die sondoffer voor die aangesig van die HERE geslag word. Dit is hoogheilig.דַּבֵּ֤ר אֶֽל־אַהֲרֹן֙ וְאֶל־בָּנָ֣יו לֵאמֹ֔ר זֹ֥את תּוֹרַ֖ת הַֽחַטָּ֑את בִּמְק֡וֹם אֲשֶׁר֩ תִּשָּׁחֵ֨ט הָעֹלָ֜ה תִּשָּׁחֵ֤ט הַֽחַטָּאת֙ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה קֹ֥דֶשׁ קָֽדָשִׁ֖ים הִֽוא׃Any male among the sons of Aaron may eat it. This is a permanent portion from the food offerings to the LORD for the generations to come. Anything that touches them will become holy.” 19Die priester wat dit as sondoffer offer, moet dit eet. Op ’n heilige plek moet dit geëet word, in die voorhof van die tent van samekoms.הַכֹּהֵ֛ן הַֽמְחַטֵּ֥א אֹתָ֖הּ יֹאכֲלֶ֑נָּה בְּמָק֤וֹם קָדֹשׁ֙ תֵּֽאָכֵ֔ל בַּחֲצַ֖ר אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃Then the LORD said to Moses, 20Alles wat aan sy vleis raak, word heilig. En as daar van sy bloed op ’n kleed spat, moet jy dit waarop dit gespat het, op ’n heilige plek was.

כֹּ֛ל אֲשֶׁר־יִגַּ֥ע בִּבְשָׂרָ֖הּ יִקְדָּ֑שׁ וַאֲשֶׁ֨ר יִזֶּ֤ה מִדָּמָהּ֙ עַל־הַבֶּ֔גֶד אֲשֶׁר֙ יִזֶּ֣ה עָלֶ֔יהָ תְּכַבֵּ֖ס בְּמָק֥וֹם קָדֹֽשׁ׃“This is the offering that Aaron and his sons must present to the LORD on the day he is anointed: a tenth of an ephah of fine flour as a regular grain offering, half of it in the morning and half in the evening. 21En ’n kleipot waarin dit gekook is, moet stukkend gebreek word; en as dit in ’n koperpot gekook is, moet dit geskuur en met water afgespoel word.וּכְלִי־חֶ֛רֶשׂ אֲשֶׁ֥ר תְּבֻשַּׁל־בּ֖וֹ יִשָּׁבֵ֑ר וְאִם־בִּכְלִ֤י נְחֹ֨שֶׁת֙ בֻּשָּׁ֔לָה וּמֹרַ֥ק וְשֻׁטַּ֖ף בַּמָּֽיִם׃It shall be prepared with oil on a griddle; you are to bring it well-kneaded and present it as a grain offering broken in pieces, a pleasing aroma to the LORD. 22Al wat manlik is onder die priesters mag dit eet. Dit is hoogheilig.כָּל־זָכָ֥ר בַּכֹּהֲנִ֖ים יֹאכַ֣ל אֹתָ֑הּ קֹ֥דֶשׁ קָֽדָשִׁ֖ים הִֽוא׃The priest, who is one of Aaron’s sons and will be anointed to take his place, is to prepare it. As a permanent portion for the LORD, it must be burned completely. 23En elke sondoffer waarvan van die bloed in die tent van samekoms gebring word om in die heiligdom versoening te doen, mag nie geëet word nie; dit moet met vuur verbrand word.’ ”וְכָל־חַטָּ֡את אֲשֶׁר֩ יוּבָ֨א מִדָּמָ֜הּ אֶל־אֹ֧הֶל מוֹעֵ֛ד לְכַפֵּ֥ר בַּקֹּ֖דֶשׁ לֹ֣א תֵאָכֵ֑ל בָּאֵ֖שׁ תִּשָּׂרֵֽף׃ פEvery grain offering for a priest shall be burned completely; it is not to be eaten.”
